The practice, Clinical therapeutic health group was formed in 2018 after a vision by owner and founder, Marianne Williams to build a mental health practice which focuses on science-based data and diagnostics before a treatment plan is initiated. She saw a need for this from her own family experiences with misdiagnosis followed by trial-and-error medication. Current protocol for making a mental health diagnosis is based on the patient’s self-evaluation and description of symptoms which has a high potential for misinterpretation. For the next ten years Marianne focused her attention on the research which supports several testing platforms to validate an accurate diagnosis. She then implemented assessment and testing tools into the practice and continues to seek out the most advanced methods for solving mental health conditions.
Marianne was born in Canada of Danish parents and has lived in the United States for approximately 30 years. She has lived and traveled extensively around the world as a tourism industry executive in prior years which provided a global perspective and the exposure to many different cultures. She has raised four children as a single mother in the Palm Harbor area of Florida which provided personal experience as a parent navigating those challenges especially if mental health conditions are prevalent. She enjoys the endless activities in Florida but prefers the colder weather, skiing and other adventures.
